55 London is a new service that offers affordable rent for over 55s living in London. If you’re a keyworker or are unlikely to benefit from social housing then 55 London may be able to offer you a home. Our rented studio and 1 bed homes are available at less than the London market rent, offering you the opportunity to rent your own space with no deposit required.
55 London’s safe and secure homes are available in multiple boroughs such as Ealing, Camden and Kingston. Our homes are a mix of both general purpose and sheltered housing schemes, with some providing additional housing features, such as resident alarm systems, communal facilities, launderettes and gardens.
The scheme is already improving the lives of individuals such as Paul, who lost his home after being impacted by the financial crisis. With both this and high market rents, Paul house-shared for many years until 55 London gave him a home to call his own – at the Oldfield Estate in Camden.
