Support our work

At Central & Cecil (C&C), one of our priorities is facilitating engagement, fostering social interaction, and supporting an active lifestyle. Through our dedicated arts, fitness, and cultural events in our engagement programme, we bring joy and connection to those living in our sheltered housing schemes and care homes. Our activities provide opportunities to try something new, rediscover creative outlets, and engage in uplifting experiences—all at no cost to our residents.

How Your Donation Helps

We welcome donations to support our work. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us continue offering enriching activities to those who need them most. Here’s how your donation could make a difference:

• £50 – Provides materials such as art and crafts, allowing residents to express their creativity.
• £250 – Funds a specialist-led session for a month in one of our care homes or housing schemes, promoting physical and mental well-being.
• £1,000 – Covers a whole quarter of activities or funds a start-up new project, ensuring long-term engagement for residents.

Seeking Grants

In addition to donations, we actively seek grants that align with our mission. Our key aims include:

• Combating loneliness among older adults
• Reducing inactivity and promoting well-being through social engagement
• Encouraging creativity and lifelong learning in sheltered housing and care homes

We’ll be sharing stories from our residents about how these activities have enriched their lives. Additionally, we regularly assess the impact of our engagement programme, tracking key outcomes such as improved well-being, increased social interaction, and reduced loneliness among residents.
