Just Launched: 55 London Provides Affordable Central London Homes
55 London is a new service that offers affordable rent for over 55s living in London. If you’re a keyworker or are unlikely to benefit from social housing then 55 London may be able to offer you a home. Our rented studio and 1 bed homes are available at less than the London market rent, offering you the opportunity to rent your own space with no deposit required.
55 London’s safe and secure homes will be available in multiple boroughs such as Ealing, Camden and Kingston. Our homes are a mix of both general purpose and sheltered housing schemes, with some providing additional housing features, such as resident alarm systems, communal facilities, launderettes and gardens.
Do you qualify for 55 London?
You must be aged over 55 and are currently unable to afford London market rent. It will particularly suit those with an annual household income of under £60,000, including housing benefits. When you enquire, we will undertake some simple affordability and other relevant checks on your behalf to ensure you’re a suitable 55 London tenant.
For full details and criteria, please read the attached 55 London Fact Sheet.
We currently have properties upcoming in the following schemes:
Oldfield Estate (54 Fitzroy Road, Primrose Hill, London NW1 8UA)
Vivian Court (128-134 Maida Vale, London W9 1PZ)

Central & Cecil (C&C) has been providing affordable homes for Londoners for over 90 years. Founded in 1926 by Mrs. Chesterton, whose vision was to provide refuge to homeless young women, C&C has since expanded to offer homes across London to people over the age of 55. C&C aims to be inspirational in everything we do and promises residents the very best service, care and support.
55 London is a sister company of Central and Cecil Housing Trust (C&C) – which has been providing homes for Londoners since 1926.
