Cecil Court resident enjoys a Valentines to remember!

A Cecil Court care home resident enjoyed a Valentine’s Day to remember this week with special treats provided by the home to mark the big day.

John Napier, 88 years old, has been resident at Cecil Court care home in Kew since August 2021. With John now bedbound, his wife Cecily comes to visit him on a daily basis – and both were able to celebrate in style on Monday. Together, John and Cecily enjoyed lunch, champagne and Ferrero Rocher chocolates, while John was also treated to a new electric recliner wheelchair.

“I have never enjoyed a Valentine’s Day so much,” said Cecily, who lives at the family home in Kew. “The new chair topped it all off, as it does everything John needs and he can now look forward to going out in the garden.

“The excellent care he gets at Cecil Court makes his situation bearable and the staff are to be highly commended. They are kind and caring to everyone and we really appreciate that.”
