Important information about changes to our Housing Waiting List

We have taken the decision to close the C&C housing waiting list, effective from Monday 30 September.

This means that moving forward we will no longer allocate homes via our own waiting list. Instead, we are setting up agreements with our local authority partners, and homes will be allocated using the relevant local authority application process.

We have written to all affected customers and current waiting list applicants to let them know the list will be closed and to provide them with guidance on what they need to do to register with the local authority.

For anyone affected who is not already registered with the local authority housing department, you will need to contact them direct to discuss your options and to see if you meet their conditions in order to join their register. We would encourage you to do this as soon as possible.
