New C&C website: designed with and for residents!

18/09/2020

Our new website has been built with support from residents and their families to provide even better advice and guidance! We’ve actively listened to create a new site that can help residents live more independent lives, take actions and get involved!

For housing residents

As well as adding lots of helpful information, there’s some great new features too. Housing residents can check out arts, fitness and other activities happening in their local area with our activity calendar and quickly find more information relating to their tenancy in a significantly enhanced For residents section. There’s also lots more helpful information about how you can get involved with your community and even volunteer!

We’re also keen to share more resident voices, which is why we’ll be sharing resident blogs – our first resident blog was written by David Justice. Get in touch if you’d like to write a blog of you own!

For care home residents and families

For care home residents and their families, we’ve developed lots of helpful information across our care home section thanks to their feedback and suggestions along with a specific arts, events and activity care home calendar.

For new residents

For prospective and new residents, we’ve developed a new property search tool and provided helpful information about moving in to a C&C property, as well as creating a new Resident Handbook (co-created with residents!). And if you want to know a few of the reasons why the over 55s in London choose us – read more here.

Navigation tips

This website features rollover menus for our main sections: For residents, Find a property, Our care homes and About Us. These sections also feature summary pages which you can access by clicking on the main title e.g. For resident (instead of rolling over to reveal the menu). We also have a keyword search on the homepage which brings back results based on keywords on specific pages.

Getting in touch

We’ve also made getting in touch with us via email much easier, with new forms across different sections (along with our general contact us page) which aim to better capture your specific needs so we can better respond.

The new website is part of our 10-year Fit Future strategy, which aims to deliver even better services to our resident communities. Of course, we will continue to refine the new website and welcome contributions!
