Universal credit claims - rent changes

If you are claiming Universal Credit you will need to tell them about any rent increases applied in April. You should have received a ‘to do’ from Universal Credit asking you to update your rent if it changed. If you have completed your ‘to do’ in good time you will see this in your next payment.

With Universal Credit calculating rents monthly and most landlords charging rents weekly, it can get confusing.
