Relatives and residents of Compton Lodge particularly value the kindness of staff and say that the care given is amazing. We offer personal care for up to 32 residents, including specialist dementia residential care, and temporary (respite) care.

A thrill for the arts and nature

Many of our residents have an artistic background. This vibrant mix of people from different cultures and backgrounds makes Compton Lodge a hive of creativity. Our unique ‘Out Not In’ approach encourage all of our residents to engage with society, with arts and with nature.  Residents also benefit from a range of specialist technologies for added safety and security around the home.  Learn more about our approach to care.

A beautiful Edwardian home

Compton Lodge is a large, Edwardian house that has been sympathetically extended to provide a high standard of accommodation. It's set in its own beautiful gardens in a quiet residential street between Swiss Cottage and Primrose Hill, in the borough of Camden. Our 30 single and 2 double rooms are comfortable and well equipped, and residents can personalise with their own belongings. Find out more in our Compton Lodge brochure.

We welcome both private applications and referrals from local authorities.

Our staff have close relationships with residents’ friends and families, and strong connections to GPs, hospitals and the community. Residents also value being part of the Hampstead community. Many residents are local to the area and there have been many instances of reconnecting with old friends when they move into the home.

Robert has worked in care since 2005 and has experience in different roles within the industry. He is passionate about providing exceptional person-centred care for residents using the C&C services and guidance and assistance of the rest of his care team.

Robert has worked for C&C since 2013, with his first role being at C&C's Homemead care home, where he developed his managerial and leadership skills.

He currently holds a QCF Diploma Level 5 in Health and Social Care.
