Welcome to Rathmore House
At Rathmore House, our diverse mix of residents and staff ensure a real family feeling. We provide permanent and temporary (respite) residential care, with a dedicated team who are passionate about meeting the different needs of our residents. Due to the size of our care home (up to 20 residents), we are able to offer a more personalised level of care, and with significant resident and staff interaction thanks to high staffing ratios (minimum of 1:5). For a friendly chat about how we can support you or your loved one, simply complete the form at the bottom of this page.
Residents at Rathmore House have received their Covid-19 vaccinations, and we can arrange for new residents to be vaccinated. For more on how we are supporting our care homes at this time, please visit our Covid-19 FAQs page.
We take the time to understand, encourage and support their interests and tastes so they can lead their very best life. Read how we support our residents with their passions.
Helping residents to feel 'Out Not In'
We encourage residents to fully engage in society, arts and nature and enjoy their life, which is reflected in the variety of regular arts and fitness activities and trips organised by care staff and wider team. All of our residents do benefit from a regular programme of activities as well as specialist technologies for added safety and security around the home. Learn more about our approach to care.
“My uncle was already familiar with Rathmore House, as he had visited my mother every few days since she moved in, and he had joined in with some of the social activities at the home. He loved the music events in particular, and often made sure he was around when tea was served at 3pm. Uncle Nigel knew and liked all the staff, especially [home manager] Edith Mansfield – who he cannot do enough for!"
Please note, this tour does not show all areas of the home, but representative images of the main areas including bedrooms.
