Safeguarding

We’re committed to protecting all of our residents, visitors and staff.

C&C

This includes any resident who could be described as being at risk, including people who are socially isolated, people with a physical disability, learning disability, mental health problem, frailty, confusion and especially those living with dementia.

We’re responsible for making sure that all staff and visitors to our care homes, sheltered housing schemes, and supported living settings are made aware and kept updated with any issues surrounding adults at risk. We won’t be satisfied with anything which falls short of that standard even if it can’t be categorised specifically as abuse.

We have a zero tolerance against abuse. All staff have been and are being trained in recognising all types of abuse and what route to take in reporting abuse. All staff attend updates at least once per year.
