Allocations: Frequently Asked Questions
We use the information you provide to decide whether you are an eligible candidate for C&C social housing.
You will also be awarded points, based on medical or additional need, and supporting documents. These show the level of priority awarded for housing, in-line with your housing need.
f your application (with all necessary accompanying documents) is accepted, you will receive a confirmation letter, detailing your success and supplying your applicant number. You are now on the C&C housing waiting list.
If your application is unsuccessful, you will receive a letter detailing the reasons for rejection
Once you have received your confirmation letter, you will receive a call from a Service Officer, at a potential housing scheme (per your area specifications), and offered a viewing. The speed of this will be dependent on your area choices and property availability.
If you refuse a viewing, or attend a viewing and refuse the property, this will be recorded on your file. You will then have 1 remaining refusal. After your second refusal you will be removed from the C&C housing waiting list
You can either accept, the property you are viewing, at the viewing or over the phone with the Service Officer. If you cannot get hold of the Service Officer you can always call the Service Hub on 0207 922 5300.
Generally we do not allow pets in our schemes, but this is something you can discuss with the Service Officer, at your viewing.

We have a very limited number of houses and two bedroom flats available. These are usually reserved for those applicants with extra medical needs i.e. a live in carer.
We recommend you keep your options broad, to ensure you are housed quickly.
